PowerPoint Six - Katie Morag and the New Pier (exploring changes) There are 15 slides which invite the children to consider whether or not it was a good idea to build a new pier and to think about how the new pier will affect the islanders and what changes will come about because of it. Several slides retell the story with pictures from the book then animated slides introduce some of the villagers and their comments (taken from the book)
